Monitoring

Know About Problems Before Your Customers Do

Monitoring that’s configured but never watched isn’t worth much. We set up proper CloudWatch monitoring and alerting for your AWS infrastructure, so issues get caught and addressed early — not discovered from a customer complaint.

Silent Failures Are the Most Expensive Kind

A server running low on disk space, a database approaching its connection limit, or a service that’s quietly degraded — these issues often go unnoticed until they cause a full outage. Proper monitoring with meaningful alerts, not just dashboards nobody checks, is what actually prevents this.

What CloudSyncPK Does

We configure CloudWatch monitoring for the metrics that actually matter for your setup — CPU, memory, disk, database connections, error rates — and set up alerts that reach you before a small issue becomes an outage. This is typically delivered as part of our Server Setup or Managed Support packages.

What's Included

CloudWatch metrics configuration for key resources
Alert thresholds tailored to your infrastructure
Email alert delivery
Dashboard setup for at-a-glance health checks
Log monitoring for application-level issues where applicable
Documentation of what’s monitored and why

Who This Is For

Businesses with no current monitoring or alerting in place
Companies that only find out about issues from customer complaints
Teams wanting monitoring reviewed as part of a broader setup or support engagement
Anyone unsure whether their current CloudWatch setup is actually useful

Our Process

01

Infrastructure Review

We identify which metrics genuinely matter for your specific setup.

02

Monitoring Configuration

We configure CloudWatch metrics, logs, and dashboards accordingly.

03

Alert Setup

We set meaningful alert thresholds and connect them to email notifications.

04

Review & Tune

We check in after initial setup to tune thresholds and reduce noisy or irrelevant alerts.

Your AWS Access Stays Secure

We never request AWS root credentials or account passwords. Access is granted via temporary, least-privilege IAM roles and removed after project completion.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this different from Managed AWS Support?

Monitoring setup is part of what’s included in our Managed Support packages. This page describes the monitoring component specifically, for businesses that want to understand or scope it as part of a broader engagement.

Will I get alerts for things that don’t actually matter?

We aim to avoid this. Alert thresholds are set to reflect real risk to your infrastructure, and we tune them after initial setup to cut down on noise.

Can you monitor application-level issues, not just server metrics?

For applications with structured logging, yes — we can extend monitoring into application-level error rates and performance, not just infrastructure metrics.
